To our dear ones who are encouraged and love Meghan’s life as we do, thank you for your endless prayers. Know that we honor you for keeping us close to your hearts, even when so much time has passed. We know for certain this is why we, as a family, are asked by our creator to continue His love with the immense joy that we experience. Our love for all life grows deeper each day. Our beautiful Meghan is turning 3 years old on October 16th. We are so overjoyed to be celebrating yet another year to have been blessed with her incredible life. We cannot express to you enough what an honor it is to be asked to care for one of His weakest. Oh, how we should all strive to be so weak, that we depend on God for everything, and I mean everything. Meghan, unable to move, breath, eat, swallow or speak, humbles herself before God to only desire His will. For she works daily in the name of Jesus. Without speaking a word, she has brought countless people to their knees, some having spent hours in front of the Blessed Sacrament. She has brought people back to their faith and made their relationship with God stronger. All of this in the name of Jesus, without speaking a word - not one single word. If we could all be so still in our lives to truly embrace God’s love. As we gaze deeply into His merciful eyes at the foot of the cross, may we only desire His will. Our personal prayer is to step aside, so that God can do his work through our family. We believe Meghan rests peacefully in knowing that she is on God’s side. May we all keep our face on God.

We are celebrating another milestone. As of this week Meghan has been out of the hospital for one full year. Praise God for this! Thank you for all of the prayers to make this possible. With her birthday coming, we ask you to please prayerfully consider either fasting for Meghan or spending an hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament sometime in the next week. This would be so very much appreciated. Meghan has suffered a great deal for the redemption of souls, and this would be such an amazing gift for her and our family.

Meghan is of course defending the gift of life. She lives on full life-support. In this culture of death, she is a constant reminder of the beautiful gift of life. We know that our culture tells us that the weak can and should be destroyed. God has given all of us Meghan’s life to witness. Let us all turn our hearts toward respecting all human life as He commands. Let us all become bold witnesses that God alone is the author of all life. For those of you who have seen Meghan can testify to her beauty. She is one gorgeous sight! Pray for us, as we strive to always defend life. Meghan has appeared in the last two Right to Life of Michigan brochures. Meghan’s picture and story will also be on an insert for over 100,000 church papers on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. This will be on January 22, the anniversary of Roe v Wade. For more information, click here for a pdf of the insert.

Lauren (12) Michael (10) and Shannon (7) are all Meghan’s heroes. How I wish all of you could see her face when they climb in bed with her. They smother her with endless love, kisses, attention, play time and prayer time. They love picking out her clothes, accessorizing the outfit of the day, and of course brushing and styling her gorgeous long curly hair. They have exactly what we should all want to acquire. Pure, unconditional love. This is as we know what God commands us to do. This is where our joy comes from. We can feel the presence of God in our home. There is a sense of peace. Meghan’s smile is so beautiful. Our family is indeed blessed by Gods mercy. I have incredible joy rocking Meghan, kissing her, and telling her how in love I am with her for hours each day. One could only be so grateful, to be called by God to be the mother of four of His children. I truly see God in their little faces. I fall in love with God more each day and thank Him for holding us so tight in His arms.

God’s Blessings

Ellen
